INTERIOR DESIGNER | INTERMEDIATE

We specialize in residential and commercial design. As a growing dynamic design firm we are looking for an enthusiastic skilled Intermediate Interior Designer to join our team.

Your responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Concept development

• Site measurement and job site visits

• Work closely with principal designers and clients

• Research products and materials

• Correspondence and coordination with clients, trades, and contractors

• Assessing costs and materials required for each project within budget

• Space planning

• Furniture plans

• Sourcing finishes and fixtures

• Drawings: plans, elevations, reflected ceiling plans, plumbing, electrical, etc.

• Prepare specification documents

• Design custom millwork and furniture

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma in Interior Design

• Experience: 4-5 years minimum

• Car required

• Word, Excel, PowerPoint

• AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Illustrator

• Outstanding organizational skills and client skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Positive, solution-oriented attitude

CONDITIONS:

• Permanent position, Monday to Thursday, 32 hours / week

• Available immediately

• Includes compensation for car and cell phone

• Salary – to be discussed

We are fascinated by manifesto's, rules, and practices - we find how people create intriguing and view them as great learning tools. Immaculate Heart College Art Department Rules are written by Sister Corita Kent, Rule 8 especially resonates with us.

We make time (tune out PO's and client files) to focus on creativity. Grand brain dumps of design and business building inspire and motivate us.
